"It is the goal of this consortium to bring together the target audience, consisting of healthcare, volunteer and public health emergency management personnel in both the governmental and private sectors to discuss shared practices in mitigation, emergency management and response before, during, and after a disaster. This forum will provide a hands-on, adult learning environment promoting the sharing of ideas and discussion of best practices.

Subject matter experts will present in interactive forums, sharing lessons learned during times of preparedness, response and recovery in public health emergencies, affecting healthcare infrastructure. They will focus on aspects of coordination and collaboration between the various organizations and stakeholders contributing to disaster preparedness, healthcare response, rescue and evacuation, sheltering in place, and recovery operations."
