Call for Discussion on Harnad on Consciousness -- National Humanities Center Project: On the Human

The problem of explaining causally how and why we can do what we can do has lately come to be called the “easy” problem. The mind/body problem has lately come to be called the “hard” problem. In Doing, Feeling, Meaning and Explaining, I formulate this as the problem of explaining how and why we feel. I give some reasons why I think it is impossible to solve the hard problem, but commentators are invited to give it a go!
