Lobbying presentation and workshop

On Wednesday, December 5, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m., in room 209 of the Rosenfield Center at Grinnell College (1115 Eighth Avenue), Justin Hupfer will discuss what makes a lobbyist successful and conduct an interactive workshop dealing with the lobbying process, particularly in relation to the typical legislative calendar. Mr. Hupfer is a professional lobbyist and the Chief Executive Officer of Policy Works LLC.

Poweshiek CARES members who plan to have extended discussions with state legislators, persuading them to pass laws that will protect citizens and the environment from the depradations of factory farming, are encouraged to attend.
