End of a Stage in LimeWire's Troubles

TorrentFreak is reporting that the movie studios have given up on trying to get money out of (now defunct) LimeWire. The cost of getting what they wanted probably exceeded the likelihood of getting anything and the only ones who were likely to profit were the lawyers. Plus LimeWire is now years gone and no outcome to this lawsuit would likely change the sharing landscape. My guess is that the studios will take from the list the lesson that they should sue early, lest history pass them by.
