There is (Still) a Hole in Your Mind

Mike Masnick has a nice writeup of the Center for the Study of the Public Domain's catalog of all the things gone missing due to copyright term extension. I don't have much to add to what I said about this back in August. It is worth keeping in mind that this is not just a change in policy going forward. By making these term extensions retroactive Congress effectively reached back into history and changed the terms of the deal. We are all worse off for that today.
