"The Grey Area" a film by Noga Ashkenazi '09 scheduled for April screenings in Iowa

A New York City film distribution company Women Make Movies released "The Grey Area" on DVD at the end of February. Grinnell alumnus Noga Ashkenazi spent hours filming the documentary, her first feature film, behind the walls of the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women.
Ashkenazi, 28, of Chicago, is also planning multiple educational screenings in Iowa and other parts of the Midwest in April. Screenings are currently scheduled in Marshalltown (April 18, 7 p.m. at The Orpheum Theater Center ) and Grinnell (April 19, 7 p.m. at Grinnell College).
