Installment of the Cultural Medallion honoring Harry Lloyd Hopkins on May 6, 2013 at the Christodora House in New York City. Hopkins was being honored for his work at the Settlement House and his implementation of the Social Security Act and leadership of the Works Progress Administration under President Roosevelt in 1935. The ceremony was led by Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel, who established the Cultural Medallion program for the Historic Landmarks Preservation Center.
