Since you know so many open-minded statisticians with interests in social science, I thought that you might know someone interested in this opportunity.
As part of a major new initiative in interdisciplinary data science, Princeton University is searching for tenured and tenure-track faculty members. The Department of Sociology is participating in the search. The search is focused on applicants who advance discovery in their fields of scholarship using techniques from machine learning and statistics. Application review begins December 1 and will be done by an interdisciplinary committee and the Department of Sociology. The position is open to people trained in any field, and it will have a tenure home in the Department of Sociology.
