Summary:
I wasn’t planning on getting into education. In high school my role model was Carl Sagan and my ambition was to study astrophysics at Cornell or MIT. When I arrived at Trent University in 1984 that had changed, and I enrolled in Comparative Development Studies – a discipline where one examined the structural causes of underdevelopment and poverty.
