Public Access Letter on Appropriations

On August 3, 2023, ARL sent a letter to appropriations leadership in the House and Senate asking them to remove Section 552 from the Commerce, Justice, and Science appropriations bill. This troublesome language would block federal funds from being used to provide public access to federally-funded research.
