Flash Mobs and Teaching

I'm a sucker for flash mobs, despite the fact that I am generally opposed to both flashing and joining the mob. I'm a sucker for a flashmob video, but not for the mob itself so much as the expression on the face of the public. Flash mobs confirm this part of me that wants to believe that the magical can happen in the midst of the ordinary.
It has me thinking that as much as I talk about the meaning of education, a part of me loves teaching for the same reason that I love flash mobs. I love the random moments where something magical happens in the midst of the ordinary.
