Summary:

"This workshop will be a brief intro to using R for data analysis for the beginner. Some familiarity with data and statistics will be helpful. This will not be a comprehensive introduction to R. Rather, it will be a short introduction to using R for simple analysis. We'll use a sample dataset to munge and manipulate into a format for running statistics and graphs. In that process we'll cover some common R functions that an analyst would most commonly use: subset, rep, split, dates, plyr package, merges/joins, csv, if/else statement, and a for/while loop."
