Purloined Porsches: Germany's Open Borders a Boon for Car Thieves

The open border between Germany and its neighbors to the east has been a bonanza for car thieves. Since the border came down in 2007, the number of stolen cars has gone up 60 percent in Dresden alone. Police in three countries are banding together to stem the flood of stolen vehicles.
