GAS EXPORTS: Latest DOE announcement seeks to steal wind from LNG critics' sails

In a move that appears timed to new congressional scrutiny of the Obama administration's natural gas export policy and the Russian takeover of Crimea, the Energy Department yesterday approved the next in a slow-moving queue of bids to ship the fuel overseas.
