New Justice Reinvestment Brief Released

The Urban Institute, with Bureau of Justice Assistance support, has released "The Justice Reinvestment Initiative: Experiences from the States." This research brief chronicles the early activities and results of 17 states engaged in the Justice Reinvestment Initiative (JRI). Collectively, the 17 states that have adopted the JRI model are projected to save $3.3 billion over 10 years.
