TEXAS: Abbott takes aim at renewables in bid to avoid blackouts

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has ordered utility regulators to shake up the state's main power grid to prevent disastrous blackouts like the one that engulfed the state in February, in a move aimed at boosting traditional fuels over renewable energy.
