Digital Labor has become a catchall term which is meant to signify any and all of the multiplicity of “labors” that occur around or on “digital” devices--everything from computers and cell phones to gps navigators and bluetooth enabled anything.  ”As such, digital labor has become a prime target and site of intervention for academics and activists attempting to “pin down” signification on either side of the equation (what do we mean by digital, how do we define labor).
