Welp, looks like I’m never sleeping again.

This is Grant Botti, a 14-year-old from Arkansas. While he was asleep Monday night he felt his ear start to hurt more and more. By Tuesday morning when he woke up he was in excruciating pain.

His mother Angela told BuzzFeed News that he woke up, ran down stairs, and couldn't explain what was wrong. Then he started fidgeting with his ear and pulled THIS THING OUT OF IT. HE PULLED IT OUT OF HIS EAR OH MY GOD.

Botti said the doctors told her they had never seen anything like it before. Grant ended up with abrasions to his ear drum and ear canal (and nightmares for the rest of his life, probably).
