A dozen ways to get a dose of style.
Gypsy, Hippie, Vintage & Indie Markets
This market is full of wonderful surprises from live performance art and music, to one-off vintage clothing and accessories, handmade gifts, and art and craft. Living its own ~gypsy life~, the market was first located at West End with the next one to be held in Fortitude Valley. The markets usually runs once a month from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday.
Boundary Street Markets
West End is a gem of a place. Within the suburb lies the Boundary Street Markets, and within the markets, inside the old ice-cream factory, is a bazaar of pop-up shops. Here you'll find everything from second-hand books, to a chai tea den, to a steampunk boutique. The shops are open Friday 4-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm and Sundays 9am-2pm.
Wardrobe Warriors
Wardrobe Warriors describes itself as a "fashion market with heart". Join in by selling or buying pre-loved clothing and other special things at one of these markets, which happen every two months. Entry is a gold coin donation - which along with money from raffle tickets - goes to a charity of choice.
The Diva's Wardrobe
The Diva's Wardrobe is your chance to buy designer goods from the city's top stylists, fashion agents, boutique owners and media personalities. Previous stall holders have included the owners of Jules & Roc, Louenhide and other online boutiques, mother-daughter teams clearing out their Camilla, Zimmerman and Christian Louboutins, plus stylists and fashion buyers selling brand names from Louis Vuitton and Prada, to Sass & Bide, Alice McCall, Cameo and Zara. Entry is $10 with around 26 stalls at each. Dates are irregular, so check the website.
