Varying volumes in a choral score

When playing a choral piece imported from a pdf, I get volume increases on longer notes, even when "attack" is set to zero. There appears to be a bug with the choral voices as no other volume settings are affecting the score. A sample score is attached with only the Alto voice prominent.
