Graphics Copy fails in vertical Document View
New Ideas : Sibelius Feedback Community 2014-10-19
Summary:
If a score of multiple pages is displayed in Document View mode "Spreads Vertically" or "Pages Vertically", and is positioned in the Sibelius window at a page (or spread) other than the very first of the score, then any graphics copy (Alt-G, drag, Ctrl-C) will result in the clipboard containing something which cannot be pasted into any other graphics application. Graphics Copy works correctly from the very first page or spread of the score in either vertical Document View. Graphics Copy works correctly on any page of the score if the Document View is set to "Spreads Horizontally" or "Pages Horizontally". Reproduction steps under Windows 7 (both 32-bit and 64-bit): 1. Open a Sibelius score of multiple pages; 2. Set "Document View" to "Pages Vertically"; 3. Scroll down to a page other than the first; 4. Type Alt-G and drag the cursor to make a graphics selection; 5. Type Ctrl-C to copy the graphic selection to the clipboard; 6. In MS Paint, type Ctrl-V to paste the graphic from the clipboard; 7. Observe error message "The information on the Clipboard can't be inserted into Paint"; 8. In Photoshop, Paste from clipboard is greyed out. 9. In MS Word, Ctrl-V does nothing.
