Editorial Slurs (with a 'tick')

Could it be made possible to alter slur properites to show a tick in the middle of the slur to indicate that it is editorial. This could be a switch or tick box in the Inspector. This would be very useful for people who have to prepare editions or other strict rules of engraving.
