Glissando seamless playback

Summary:
When I want a slow measured glissando I often write one as in Ex 1. This allows me to specify where the gliss. has reached part way and depending on the intervals can regulate different speeds within the gliss. The problem is that playback does not play this back as a continuous glissando. There is a "hiccup" at the middle note. This can be softened a little by a slur (which can be hidden) or by adding legato in the dictionary but I can't find a way to eradicate it entirely. (well I have, but its far too complicated to bother explaining and to be practical) Similarly when wanting a gliss. to change direction (see Ex 2.) we meet the same problem with playback. Can I suggest that the development team take all the current bugs and ideas for glissandos (all of which I and others seem to agree with) and implement them together thereby sorting out glissandos in one fell swoop.
