Hyperlinks

New Ideas : Sibelius Feedback Community 2017-12-07

Summary:

Hyperlinks in Sibelius were high on Daniel's list of improvements shortly before the shutters came down on The Old Toy Factory. Michael Ost likened it to HTML, and in a way, it is. For writers of analyses, methods and histories, it would enable authors to write completely within Sibelius, thus obviating a trip to any 3rd party software. So how could it work? Put the text and graphics on a blank page. At the end paragraph of the text/graphic, put a link to a score. At the end of the score, put a link back to the blank page with the text/graphics. This could revolutionise educational publications. Imagine an analysis with playing examples, or a harmony textbook with playing examples.
