Info page input transfers to title/first page

Summary:
When adding information to the first/title page, I'm told to enter the information on the File->Info page. When I do, it never transfers. For instance, adding a subtitle to the work, trying to add directly, I get an error/issue message. I go to the info page, enter the information, and it never appears where I wanted/expected it to appear. If I'm doing it wrong, then it needs to be simplified. If not, it needs to work!
