New Notation Proposal: Spinning Cymbal Vibrato

My name is Guy Juravich and I am the inventor and founder of Spinbal, the Cymbal Spinner. Spinbal is a ball-bearing cymbal seat which allows cymbals to spin for extended periods. Similar to vibraphones and rotary speaker cabinets (such as Leslie), revolving cymbals produce a unique Doppler-shifting vibrato. With the addition of hanging "sizzle" ball chains, spinning cymbals produce white noise for extended periods as well. I am currently the main steward of this method, as I discovered this tone while performing at a concert hall in Dallas, TX in early 2013. However, since our product became available worldwide in 2017, the method has been adopted by professional musicians in all genres. This outpouring of support has included requests and advice on notating a spinning cymbal. I did, in fact, create what I believe to be an incredibly simple notation to denote this effect, and have attached supporting images below. Also attached is a photograph from principal percussionist Brian Kushmaul of the Buffalo Symphonic Orchestra who simply had to write "spin" to express this method. I strongly believe this notation would be welcomed with open arms by the percussive community. The regular (and seemingly urgent) requests for this notation have flooded our company inboxes and I've come to this forum with a simple solution that would provide artists and composers with the ability to explore a new sonic frontier within the software they already employ. Furthermore, our company is being incubated by LaSalle University; our educational affiliation has afforded us access to professionals who agree this course of action would be ideal for all parties.
