Positioning of Rehearsal marks

Please enable the user to make different positioning-settings of rehearsal-marks when they are at the beginning of a line. All publishers I am working for are placing the rehearsalmark above a clef rather than next to it. Why not setting this up in the rehearsalmark - panel with 2 settings - default and "when at the beginning of a new line"
