"Last week, as a lead-up to this year’s International Open Access Week (October 24-30), the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC) and The Right to Research Coalition organized a live OpenCon Community Webcast with Peter Suber, Director of the Harvard Office of Scholarly Communication and longtime Open Access advocate. The focus of the webcast, which took the form of a Q&A session, was the state of Open Access academic publishing 15 years after the drafting of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI)."
