Summary:

"OpenDataSoft has launched a new open data platform with a specific focus on enabling collaboration between partners.

The Open Data as a Service platform, which the company has already run with partners in Europe, includes data visualization tools and an API creation process, allowing managers to decide which users have access to which data sets. The idea is to make it easy for people to strike up data-sharing partnerships.

'Open Data as a Service has enabled us to create a unique offer for the communities with which we work in order to have one solution for internal and external data sharing, as well as the opportunity to improve our communication through the use of dashboards,' said Alain Geutrot, director of the Paris-area IT manager InfoCom 94 in a press release. 'It’s helped us make Open Data an easy sell.'"
