CONCLUSIONS: Using cell tracer models, we confirm that adipose-derived neural stem cells can be therapeutically delivered to injured peripheral nerves, integrate with recipient axons and Schwann cells, and differentiate into myelinating Schwann-like cells to enhance motor recovery.
