Summary:
CONCLUSIONS: Adolescent-initiated alcohol exposure enhanced both tumorigenesis and aggressiveness of mammary tumors, while adult-initiated alcohol exposure mainly promoted tumor metastasis. Thus, adolescent mice were more sensitive than adult mice in response to alcohol-induced tumor promotion.
