Job: Scholarly Communications Librarian. End of play: August 8, 2023 | AUT - Auckland University of Technology

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person for an innovative and rewarding role in our newly formed Research Services team, supporting Tuwhera, AUT's award winning home of open research. In this position you will:

• contribute to the growth of Tuwhera and our scholarly communications services
• support the uptake and impact of open research across the University
• be a part of a new team of research and scholarly communications librarians delivering a support to a diverse research community, informed by Te Tiriti values and aspirations.

As part of the Research Services Team you can help us deliver on our goal of providing agile, inclusive and forward-thinking support to AUT's postgraduate and staff research communities.

You will be based at our City Campus but may need to work at our other campuses from time to time.

This position requires:

• a relevant recognised undergraduate degree
• experience in research or academic library roles
• good knowledge of academic publishing practices, open access and open research systems
• great communication and interpersonal skills, and a desire to learn

This is a full-time (75 hours per fortnight) permanent position.  You must be eligible to work in NZ to be considered.

Salary range: $54,722 - $72,118
