If you think free healthcare is horrible, then you're brainwashed.

It's so funny to watch arguments online where americans try to put free healthcare in this bad light, where everybody abuses the system and people get poor (??) because of it. Like, over here we do not have to pay 1000 bucks just to get a checkup at the doctors office, or to call a freaking ambulance. When our loved ones are in critical health, we do not go millions of dollars deep into debt in order to give them care and medication. As a european I can't even imagine this scenario, like how do you people just go into so much debt? And how do you get out of it?

When I first heard about people paying to call an ambulance, or the ridiculous prices of healthcare in America I couldn't believe it, I was so shocked. I was even more shocked to find out that people actually defend this system with their life.

Edit: Same goes for Unions, why the heck would you be against UNIONS ? Do you like to be exploited?

And of course it's not "free" that's just what we call it. Because in comparison to your 30k hospital bill that you got because you sprained your small toe, our costs look like nothing.
