Summary:

From Google's English:

"The release "Creative Commons Zero" makes it possible to use open educational materials as uncomplicated as possible. What sets them apart from the regular Creative Commons licenses, where is it used and what is behind it legally?

Anyone who deals with open educational materials (OER) will sooner or later encounter the various Creative Commons licenses . The creators of such materials can use them to make it easier for others to use them as long as they adhere to certain conditions. But another tool from Creative Commons is relevant for OER: the release Creative Commons Zero, CC0 for short."
