"At TUD, the "Contact Point for Research Data" - a cooperation between ZIH and SLUB - provides advice on all questions relating to research data management (FDM). In the last two years this offer has been used by over 100 research groups. The researchers come to the consultation because they want to integrate FDM as an integral part of their everyday research, but at the same time are undecided as to how they can actually approach this task. Based on certain key questions, the research groups can be offered a systematic introduction to FDM. In the consulting practice at TUD, a step model was developed for this purpose, which is intended to facilitate this complex project. The starting point of this process is the awareness of the relationships and dependencies within your own data storage. After this foundation has been laid, the requirements for supporting technologies can be precisely formulated, tailor-made technological solutions can be found and the specifications can be implemented sustainably and efficiently. More information at Research & teaching ."
