Summary:

[Google translation]

The University of Molise, like many other universities, has signed the Declaration of Messina, the Italian document in support of the Berlin Declaration, and thus alongside all the institutions that have made the principles of access open, committed to pursuing and achieving their goals. One of the most important steps in this regard was the inclusion in its own Statute of a specific open access clause. After a first wording that was included in the revision of legislation followed by university reform in 2010, the current By-Laws - issued by D.R. 790 of 20 September 2016 - expressly states in Article 42 paragraph 4:

"The University promotes the implementation of the principles of full and open access to scientific research products, encouraging its deposition into the institutional archive and public communication, in compliance with intellectual property laws, confidentiality and data protection personal."
