Workshop on new roles for academic libraries towards open science.

The event, organized by the Centro di Ateneo per le Biblioteche, explores the role of academic libraries in the third mission, a dimension that aims to contribute to the social, cultural and economic development of society and to create interactions between the academic world and the territory.

In this context, we also talk about citizen science, i.e. the set of activities and projects involving voluntary citizens engaged in the collection and analysis of data, in collaboration with scientists and scientific institutions.

The workshop is open to the public and is aimed mainly at librarians, museum curators, archivists and experts in the cultural sector.
