Summary:

Google English: "The National Documentation Center (ESF) is organizing in Athens, May 31 & June 1, at the National Research Foundation, L. Zervas Amphitheater (48 Vas. Konstantinou, Athens) the OPERAS-D European Conference on Design for Open Access Publications in the European Research Areas for Social Sciences and Humanities, whose main objective is the development of the European electronic infrastructure for open access to publications in the Humanities and Social Sciences (ACP).

The project, funded by the Horizon 2020 Program, strengthens the structure of OPERAS (Open Access Publications in European Research Areas for SSH), a network created in 2015, by organizations with a central role in Open Source Publications on Humanities and Social Sciences (ACP), aiming at introducing the principles of Open Science into the ACP and ensuring effective dissemination and access to research results.

In this context, the Court will provide a forum for discussion and exchange of views on developments in the field of scientific communication in Europe and the changes brought about by the example of Open Science. In this new changing environment, the academic community is called upon to address the challenge of effective co-ordination between actors, disciplines, countries in the transition to the Open Science example, with particular emphasis on the Humanities and Social Sciences.

The conference addresses all bodies involved in scientific communication: libraries, publishers, infrastructure managers, research institutions and funders, as well as researchers."
