International Conference on Enumerative Combinatorics and Applications ICECA 2025 (August 25-27, 2025)
Combinatorics and more 2025-08-24
Toufic Mansour
The fourth International Conference on Enumerative Combinatorics and Applications will take place online, August 25–27, 2025. As in the previous three editions, the conference opens with a lecture by Richard Stanley—this time on “Symmetric functions arising from a theta function of Ramanujan.” The conference homepage includes links to abstracts and videos from the first three conferences.
The main organizer of the conference series is Toufic Mansour (University of Haifa), a leading figure in enumerative and algebraic combinatorics. Mansour established this remarkable virtual-conference series, founded the journal Enumerative Combinatorics and applications, and has conducted an impressive series of interviews with combinatorialists (and mathematicians with interests in combinatorics).
The latest interview in the series features Johann Cigler, the distinguished Austrian mathematician rooted in classical analysis with a deep interest in enumerative combinatorics. Update: Another exciting conference, Eurocomb 2025, takes place in Budapest, August 25 – August 29 2025.
