Zbigniew Błocki, chief of National Science Center (Polish research funding agency), about signing Plan S

After two weeks from joining Coalition S as one of 11 participants, the research funding agency of Poland made the first official statement. Not much detail was given (NCN has no open acces policy as of now), only the publishing aspect was addressed. Reform of quality assessment part of Plan S is in direct opposition to current policy developments in Poland where just recently the dependency on ImpactFactor was drastically increased.
