Issuance of Venezuela-related General License and Associated Frequently Asked Questions

The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is issuing Venezuela-related General License 44A, "Authorizing the Wind Down of Transactions Related to Oil or Gas Sector Operations in Venezuela." Additionally, OFAC is publishing an updated, related document "Frequently Asked Questions Related to the Suspension of Certain U.S. Sanctions with Respect to Venezuela on October 18, 2023."
