Abstract (German): Die Implementierung von Open Access (OA) als „golden, green and hybrid road“ profitorientierter Verlage ist ein folgenschwerer Irrweg, gemessen an den immensen Möglichkeiten einer emanzipatorischen Transformation der Wissenschaftskommunikation auf Basis von Digitalisierung und Internet. Auf diese Weise wird die Kommodifizierung (Wissenschaft als Ware) und mit ihr die traditionelle ökonomische, rechtliche und inhaltliche Abhängigkeit von der Macht weltweit agierender Verlags-Oligopole verstärkt.
