Summary:

The idea of Open Access (OA) has gained momentum over the years throughout the world cutting across regions, countries and disciplines. This paper aims to study the publishing trends of the open access journals in the subject area of legal studies registered in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The collected data were tabulated and analyzed in accordance with the desired objectives, using simple percentile techniques. The study looks at the highest number of contributions country wise, language wise and other different factors associated with journals found in DOAJ.
