OPERAS is the European Research Infrastructure for the development of open scholarly communication in the social sciences and humanities (SSH). Its mission is to coordinate and federate resources in Europe to efficiently address the scholarly communication needs of European researchers in the field of SSH.

OPERAS national nodes play a pivotal role in this and are crucial in connecting relevant stakeholders in individual countries. It is important to coordinate and link these approaches and raise awareness of what is being developed at a national level.
