Summary:
Project coordinator Open Access Recommender System (m/f/d)
to work in the field of publication probably by 1st February 2021. The position is limited to two years. The regular weekly working time is 19.9 hours (part-time). The remuneration is based on pay scale group 13 TV-L.
The Bibliometric and Semantic Open Access Recommender Network (BISON) project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and carried out in cooperation with the Saxon State and University Library Dresden (SLUB), is developing a recommendation service for quality-assured open access journals. TIB is responsible for the project coordination, community participation and for the development work.
Your tasks
- Coordination of the project with internal and external partners
- Organization of the quality assurance process and work with the communities
- Production of information material
- Planning and realization of events
Your qualities
- Successfully completed university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent), preferably in information science, natural science or a related field
- Knowledge of the open access and academic landscape
- Very good communication and cooperation skills
Desirable
- Experience with bibliographic metadata and academic publishing
- Experience with work in joint projects
- Experience in teaching open access skills in a professional or non-professional context
