We are excited to announce that registration is open for I Annotate 2021 as an all-virtual conference to be held Monday 21–Friday 25 June 2021. Reserve your spot to join us as we restart this annual gathering of educators, scholars, researchers, publishers, journalists, fact-checkers, and technologists engaged with open annotation practices and tools. Given social annotation's dramatic growth during the massive migration to remote teaching and learning in the pandemic, #ianno21 will have a special focus on annotation in education. In keeping with this year's theme — reading together — our touchstone across all sessions will be how more and more people are coming together through social annotation to share ideas, ask questions, and make connections.
