Summary:

In October 2015, the community of editors, editorial board members, authors, reviewers, and readers of the subscription-based and Elsevier-owned journal Lingua decided to move to a fully open access journal. That new journal, Glossa: A Journal of General Linguistics, published its first article on April 1, 2016. Five years since launching, we look back at some of the data behind the journal over this period.
