EKT and PKP Partnership

The National Documentation Centre (EKT)  and the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) have established a strategic partnership. This new partnership opens new and exciting perspectives for Open Access scholarly publishing. EKT has adopted and advocated for PKP’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) and Open Monograph Press (OMP) early on and has provided code contributions for OJS. In the HIRMEOS project, where EKT is a main partner, OMP is one of the five monograph publishing platforms being used.

John Willinsky, Director of the PKP, will give a keynote lecture at the OPERAS Conference “Open Scholarly Communication in Europe. Addressing the Coordination Challenge” that is organized by EKT from 31 May – 1 June 2018 in Athens.
