EVENT: Global Digital Humanities Symposium Registration Open

The Global Digital Humanities Symposium will take place on March 26-27, 2020 in the Main Library at Michigan State University. Attendance is free with advanced registration. The deadline for registration is March 13, 2020. The event will be livestreamed, and conversation about the symposium is encouraged at #msuglobaldh on Twitter.

This two-day event features keynote talks, panels, poster sessions, and lightning talks. The symposium begins with a keynote lecture by Miguel Escobar Varela, “Emic interfaces: UX design for cultural specificity.” The second day kicks off with a second keynote by Carrie Heitman, “Narrative and Nomenclature: Research Dialogues on Place-Based Knowledge in the Age of Digital Distance.” Explore the full program here.
