From Homer’s flooded rivers to Roman mining techniques and the exploitation of animals, the ancient world reveals complex interactions with nature. This is an invitation to contribute by exploring ecological transformation, environmental thought, and ethical views on animals in Antiquity. Literary, philosophical, and historical approaches are welcome in examining how ancient cultures shaped and conceptualized their natural world. The aim is to enrich contemporary discussions with insights from Antiquity.
